Covid Updates
Health and safety are especially important, and I’m going to do everything I can to follow the Eastern Ontario Health Unit’s recommendations and guideline protocols, as mandated by law:
- Art tables are arranged so that students are at least 2 metres apart to allow for physical distancing. Classes will be limited to 4 students to allow this.
- Handwashing upon arrival is strongly encouraged. A new touch-free faucet has been installed.
- Hand sanitizer will always be available.
- All surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized between classes.
- As mandated by EOHU, face masks will be required inside. As I only have one entrance and exit, physical distancing will be a challenge at the beginning and end of classes. Please only one parent bring and pick up your child.
- No one will share supplies unless they are from the same family. Some supplies are not “cleanable” (like pastels, for instance) I will rotate the lesson plans so that no two classes use the same supplies in the same week.
- Please stay home if you are sick.
- Please stay home if you have been exposed to anyone who has COVID.
- If you or someone in your family DOES test positive, please contact me so that I can let others in their class know.
