Class Description

We discuss the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design as they happen naturally during projects, but the focus is on enjoyment and fun. The learning happens almost by accident!

Class Description
Guided and Semi-guided painting in Acrylic, Watercolour, Tempera/Gouache & Mixed media for ages 9 and up.
The goal is for each student to complete one painting per class, but sometimes as a class we want to explore a subject further and with much more detail, so when this happens it might take 2 classes for a particular painting.
Subject matter varies.
There is much to be gained from the guided experience. It is a fun and relaxing way to learn technique and gain confidence.
$300 + HST per 10-week session
$35 + HST for a single class (pending the class has reached the minimum students and that there is room for an extra. Advanced registration is required.)

Summer Art Camps

DAY CAMPS: Ages 5-10: Weekdays 10am-2pm
MASTER CLASSES: Ages 10+: Weekdays 3pm-5PM
DAY CAMP
Ages 5 to 10, Art Camps are from 10am-2pm
$225 + HST per week
- 4 hours each day of Art Filled Fun for the younger camps
- Outdoor area for some activities, weather permitting!
- Arts and Crafts of all kinds in the Art camps
- Games and Puzzles for the Littles
- Story time for the Littles during Lunch break
- Occasionally we will bring out the face paints. PLEASE NOTIFY US IF YOU DON'T WANT US TO PAINT YOUR CHILD!
MASTER CLASS
Ages 10+, Master Class Camps are from 3pm-5pm
$175 + HST per week
- 2 hours of in-depth Art in the concentrated Master class!
- Outdoor area for some activities, weather permitting!
(WEEK 1 & 6 are 4-day weeks. The cost will be adjusted accordingly)
Minimum of 4 students required per art camp & Master Class!

SUMMER 2024 PROGRAM: Runs weekly from July 2 to August 30
FALL 2024 SESSION: Runs October 2 to December 8, 2024
WINTER 2025 PROGRAM: Runs January 8 to March 16, 2025
SPRING 2025 SESSION: Runs April 7 to June 15, 2025
What You Need for Class:
- Please go to the downloads page and find the appropriate registration form. Print it, fill it out, and bring it on your first day. You can find the forms below or HERE. If your child has been here previously, only fill out a new registration if the information on it has changed.
- Please dress for a mess and bring indoor footwear to class. No bare feet or outdoor shoes allowed in the studio.
- Please arrive NO earlier than 5 minutes before class. Don't knock, just come in! No need to come in to pick up your child after class. We will walk them out to the parking lot when we are done.
- A water bottle is acceptable, but please no juice or other drinks in the studio.
- While art materials are included during class, investing in quality materials for practice and enjoyment at home is highly encouraged. Private students will eventually be required to purchase their own supplies.

Payments are nonrefundable for missed classes but will be refunded for permanently cancelled Sessions.
