Class Description  

The goal is to try as many forms of art and as many mediums as possible: drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, mixed media, sculpting, textile art, and MUCH MORE!

We discuss the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design as they happen naturally during projects,  but the focus is on enjoyment and fun. The learning happens almost by accident!

--Art History and Art Appreciation included at no extra charge! ;) 

$200 + HST per 8-week session

Description

“Work at your own pace!”
Creative Foundations: a place to choose from a growing list of media focuses and follow progressive skill building assignments with guidance, demonstrations, and feedback as needed.
Creative Experiences: a little less structured for those with some art background or those who have finished foundations. Choose from a growing list of media focuses and accept challenges and suggestions to expand your creative mind.

This will not be a step-by-step formal group session like the regular creative arts classes are. Instead, it will be a place for you to learn and practice at your own pace, using in-studio supplies in most cases.
Pay by the month, choosing from 3-week or 4-week options, with continuous priority registration to those already enrolled. 

3-week (6 hours): $120 + HST

4-week (8 hours): $144 + HST

Class Description  

 Time to go a little further! You have the basics under your belt and now we're going to delve into more complex areas of drawing in perspective, shading, body proportion, etc. We will use graphite, charcoal, ink, colour pencil and pastel.

Subject matter varies.

$150 + HST per 8-week session

This class is for Ages 9+ and includes teens & adults with all levels of experience.

Saturdays 2pm to 3:30

8-week sessions in Fall, Winter & Spring

Class Description

Guided and Semi-guided painting in Acrylic, Watercolour, Tempera/Gouache & Mixed media for ages 9 and up. 

Subject matter varies.

There is much to be gained from the guided experience. It is a fun and relaxing way to learn technique and gain confidence. 

$250 + HST  per 8-week session

$35 + HST for a single class (pending the class has reached the minimum students and that there is room for an extra. Advanced registration is required.)
