Drawing is very much about "seeing" your subject. The ability to focus on something for even a short amount of time has a meditative result that can add quality to your life in all areas. "Switch your brain off from the issues of the day and contemplate the line!

The best way to draw better, is to keep drawing, and draw often. Beginners and the more skilled are welcome.

Class Description
Guided and Semi-guided painting in Acrylic, Watercolour, Tempera/Gouache & Mixed media for ages 9 and up.
The goal is for each student to complete one painting per class, but sometimes as a class we want to explore a subject further and with much more detail, so when this happens it might take 2 classes for a particular painting.
Subject matter varies.
There is much to be gained from the guided experience. It is a fun and relaxing way to learn technique and gain confidence.
$300 + HST per 10-week session
$35 + HST for a single class (pending the class has reached the minimum students and that there is room for an extra. Advanced registration is required.)

If you wish to schedule a paint night party we will be happy to host for a at least 4 participants.
Come and have some fun in a relaxing and stress free environment. Guided painting is a fun and relaxing way to learn technique and gain confidentce.
And a paint party doesn't have to be just about painting a canvas! We can host all kinds of art focussed events. Have a great idea? Run it by us!

SUMMER 2024 PROGRAM: Runs weekly from July 2 to August 30
FALL 2024 SESSION: Runs October 2 to December 8, 2024
WINTER 2025 PROGRAM: Runs January 8 to March 16, 2025
SPRING 2025 SESSION: Runs April 7 to June 15, 2025
What You Need for Class:
- Please go to the downloads page and find the appropriate registration form. Print it, fill it out, and bring it on your first day. You can find the forms below or HERE. If you or your child has been here previously, only fill out a new registration if the information on it has changed.
- Please dress for a mess and bring indoor footwear to class. No bare feet or outdoor shoes allowed in the studio.
- Please arrive NO earlier than 5 minutes before class. Don't knock, just come in! No need to come in to pick up your child after class. We will walk them out to the parking lot when we are done.
- A water bottle is acceptable, but please no juice or other drinks in the studio.
- While art materials are included during class, investing in quality materials for practice and enjoyment at home is highly encouraged. Private students will eventually be required to purchase their own supplies.

Payments are nonrefundable for missed classes but will be refunded for permanently cancelled Sessions.
